Turtle & Paua shell Earrings

Solid and easy to wear silver turtle studs with a touch of colour from the natural paua/abalone shell inlay.

Paua/abalone shell is a natural sustainable resource. Abalone is regarded as a delicacy around the world and the shell is a by product. When harvested, the shell is coated with a thick layer of marine growth and lime which is polished off to reveal the beautiful coloured shell inside.
